French domiciliation: alternatives, terms and costs
French business domiciliation requires an approved provider and a written contract lasting at least three months, renewable under its terms. A starting price alone does not explain mail costs, commitments or exit conditions. Compare SeDomicilier and alternatives on matching scope, tax basis and duration. Julie can help understand the documents; it does not itself supply the registered-office service.

Which domiciliation service is actually needed?
This task concerns commercial domiciliation terms: address, services, commitment and exit. Comparing monthly prices alone describes neither useful services nor the actual commitment.
Specify the desired address, mail handling and necessary services. Distinguish the service from contract analysis with Julie: Julie is not an approved domiciliation provider.

How should provider approval and contract scope be checked?
Commercial domiciliation requires the statutory prior administrative approval. Compare the contract and supplying company’s identity with that approval.
A business address or polished website is not that evidence. Current rules also prescribe provider and domiciled-company obligations.

Why do monthly billing, duration and notice differ?
Monthly price describes billing rhythm; minimum duration and notice govern other obligations. Keep all three separate in the comparison.
Add setup, mail and options on the same VAT basis. An annualised amount does not state first-day cash charges or early-exit conditions.
| Term | Question |
|---|---|
| Billing | Monthly, annually or another rhythm? |
| Commitment | Which minimum term and renewal? |
| Exit | Which notice, effective date and possible fees? |
| Services | Mail, scanning, forwarding and options included or charged? |

What do the observed public offers show?
On 14 October 2026, SeDomicilier displayed offers starting at €16 excluding VAT monthly with duration conditions and options; BURO’s English offer started at €19.90 excluding VAT depending on location and stated conditions.
These observations are not final quotations. No service quality was tested, and exact upfront totals were excluded because differing page states did not allow reliable comparison.
| Observed public offer | Bounded observation | Confirm by quotation |
|---|---|---|
| SeDomicilier | Starting price and options displayed on October 14 | Address, duration, mail and complete cost |
| BURO | English offer with conditional starting price | Chosen address, services, commitment and fees |

How can two stated quotations be compared?
The worksheet compares a stated period, matched services and common VAT basis. It totals complete monthly charges and priced setup fees.
Unknown options prevent a complete total; do not substitute zero. Results compare entered amounts without recommending a provider.

Why do €360 and €340 quotes not identify the best provider?
In the fictional quotes, A is €30 monthly with no setup, B €25 monthly plus €40 setup. Twelve-month references are €360 and €340.
The €20 difference evaluates neither approval, address nor service. These anonymous examples are not presented as the observed providers’ actual payable prices.
Two fictional twelve-month quotes excluding VAT: A,€20 monthly plus €10 mail and no setup fee, totals €360; B,€25 monthly plus €40 setup, totals €340. The €20 difference does not compare approval, service or complete commitments.

Which records and notifications does the provider handle?
The provider has duties concerning premises, access and client records. The domiciled business must use the address within the agreed framework and communicate required details and changes.
Read mail receipt, access and forwarding provisions. Actual document handling cannot be inferred from an address subscription alone.

Which exit commitments should be read before choosing?
Before choosing, read renewal, notice, charges and address-change formalities. Stopping payments or buying another service does not by itself terminate the contract.
The regulatory reference to three months of uncollected mail concerns an information duty within its framework; it does not automatically set contractual notice. Keep dated terms and quotations.

What else should you check?
Does monthly billing mean immediate cancellation?
No. Billing rhythm and minimum duration differ. The statutory contract has at least three months; read exit arrangements separately.

Does the lowest advertised price cover every address?
No. Starting prices depend on conditions including address and services. A quotation matching the actual choice is needed for an amount comparison.

Is forwarded mail always included?
Not necessarily. Identify forwarding, postage, scanning and other options in the contract and quote rather than assuming inclusion.

Does the three-month unread-mail rule set contract notice?
No. Three months of uncollected mail and termination notice concern different matters. Read the exit provision separately.

Does Julie replace an approved domiciliation company?
No. Julie helps understand and organise legal documents. It provides neither a registered-office address nor an approved domiciliation company’s services.
