The amount must include applicable assessed housing amounts, exclusions and abatements, not just taxable income. The 2026 amounts are dated 1 April. The fund decides; the review date is neither approval nor the start of coverage.
Which household belongs in the application ?
The C2S household differs from the tax household. Partners and dependent people may count. For someone under 25, residence, tax attachment and support can require applying with the parents. Autonomous applications have conditions and exceptions, including dependent children, pregnancy and isolated students. An uncertain household blocks our numerical orientation.

Which resources and period should I prepare ?
The ordinary period runs from the first day of the thirteenth month before applying to the last day of the second month before. For September 2026: 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026. Some resources follow the last known tax notice; exclusions, abatements and housing assessment can apply. Enter a total already prepared under these rules, not just the reference taxable income.

Does RSA remove the resource-section requirement ?
Awarded RSA opens free C2S unless you opt out. A caf.fr RSA application automatically transmits the request; otherwise the fund contacts you after RSA is awarded. Already receiving RSA without a C2S request: prepare household composition, manager choice, date and signature without the resources section. Aspa, ASI and AAH need separate condition checks. If prior paid C2S coverage left unpaid contributions, check regularisation.

Which evidence and letter should I submit ?
Gather requested tax notices or ASDIR and relevant foreign tax and social records after residence abroad. Choose the manager, sign the official form and keep filing evidence. The French letter accompanies the application; it replaces neither the form nor online validation. The fund states a 2-month review after receiving a complete file.

Does the tool grant me C2S ?

Is reference taxable income enough ?
No. Assessed resources depend on applicable resource rules, benefits in kind and exclusions. Keep the breakdown for the fund.
How much is paid C2S ?
Each member’s age on 1 January in the award year determines their contribution. The local scheme can change the tariff. This tool does not calculate contributions.
Can I opt out of employer health cover after C2S is awarded ?
A C2S entitlement certificate helps prepare an exemption for the duration of the right. This follows the award and differs from applying for coverage.
