Correct personal data under the GDPR
The GDPR right to rectification allows inaccurate personal data to be corrected, or incomplete data to be completed in light of the processing purpose. Identify the affected field, correct information and responsible organisation, then retain evidence of the request. This differs from deleting an account and from correcting an official civil-status record, which follows a separate procedure.
